The University of Puerto Rico’s X-ray
Diffraction Facility (UPR’s-XRDf) is a state of- the-art facility combining infrastructure
and scientific expertise for the
determination of crystalline structures
through powerful X-ray diffraction methods.
It provides solutions for pressing challenges
in the characterization of powders, small
molecule, and protein single crystals.

To contribute to the sustainability of Puerto Rico’s scientific and industrial community by providing easy access to crystallographic services that are critical for materials discovery in a broad range of areas including
chemistry, pharmaceutical, medical and materials science. The facility embraces a synergistic approach, providing training, instrument time, and technical support to every user.
